Original cap was loose and didnt latch properly. After market cap tripped the check engine light. After much frustration i ordered this OEM cap. Check engine light gone.

Not much to say, its an OEM product , packaging was standard, in plastic bag inside loose pack box. Pricing was good, local shops wanted almost double. Hopefully this lasts longer since the original only was attached to a car with less than 40k.

I have a 2008 suzuki XL7. my gas cap loose light came on.i tried to tighten cap more but the light came on again.after that the check engine light came on and stayed on. i went to autozone bought the cap they sell for my car.it does not look like the cap that came with my car,but they told me it does not look like my cap because it's an after market part so it would still work fine on my car.i ask if they could reset the light. they told me that they would only read the codes for me and could not reset the light,it was against store policy. so i called around orielly's auto parts told me they would reset the and at no cost to me.they did. two days later the gas cap loose light came on again.tried to tighten but light came on again.you know what? the check engine light came back on.this time i go to oriely's buy the cap they sell for my car and start the whole thing over again.two days later. same thing all over.this time i go to amazon this ac delco cap says they make to exact same specs as the one that came with my car.it has just arrived and its identical as the one that came from factory.i am sure after i take back the other two caps i have and get my light reset it will be fine.i will keep you posted i three or four days.
