I don't think this is as good as the original I had on my truck, but it does the job. I would recommend it to anyone.

Price was good. My "check engine light" said do-something: EVAP. Replacing the gas cap was the first trial in that exercise. Didn't work. So I also replaced the charcoal canister and a control valve. That total fix worked. So, I really don' know if the old (OEM) gas cap was faulty. However I do know that this one is not. The quality is adequate. It is just a gas cap. (What can you say?) The price was excellent, as was the fast delivery from Amazon.

Perfect replacement for a 1998 Mazda MPV 4x4 Sport. I'm disclosing this information because Amazon and several other vendor websites state contradicting information, with the majority stating that it won't fit the application. After some extensive research and flipping a coin, ordered it and it was a perfect match. Actually, it looked just exactly like the OE cap that the vehicle had come with (color and lettering different). Got rid of my P0455 code as well. Hopefully this helps out future buyers who are on the fence regarding fitment.
