I needed to replace the fuel cap on my 1999 Nissan Pathfinder because the check engine light kept coming on due to the original cap. This cap resolved the issue and the check engine light hasn't come back on since replacing it.
The only downside is that the ridge on top of the cap isn't very high so it is a little more difficult to get a good grip when tightening/loosening compared to the original cap.

Helped fix a check engine light that was caused by a leaky gas cap on my 1998 subaru impreza..
It spins until it clicks like those medicine bottle caps.

Nicely made gas cap from Stant - it looks identical to the OEM Ford cap. Fits perfectly. Nice replacement at a great price.
