The key lock was a bit stiff. Nothing that a bit of graphite lubricant would not fix. It keeps people from siphoning gas out of your vehicle, or god forbid, pouring stuff into your gas tank. I drive cross country every so often and it makes me sleep better at hotels knowing that there is some protection on the gas tank of my vehicle. Considering it is parked outside by a sign that indicates the hotel refuses all liability for my vehicle.

I put this on my 2010 GMC YukonXL and it fits properly, the key works without difficulty, and the plastic retainer on the vehicle will even attach to the cap.

Had it now for a couple of weeks. Works fine. Truck computer accepts it and doesn't give any false warning or problems indications as I have had with other locking gas caps. Happy with it!
