I'm the proud owner of a brand new 911 Turbo S coupe, and I thought this would add a little flair when I visit the gas station (which unfortunately is much too often, but that's a different story).
This is the authentic Porsche part, and it comes with a variety of connectors that presumably would work on just about any vehicle. Not quite sure why Porsche doesn't just install these on all their cars out of the factory, but at least if you want a nicer look than the black plastic gas caps they use, it's easy to do the upgrade yourself.
Although there are no installation instructions, a trip to Google helped me find a good YouTube video showing a quick overview of the install. Really, it's pretty simple and you could probably do it without any help, but I just imagined something going wrong because I managed to overlook a step somewhere.
Only complaint is the "aluminum look"...for the price, I'd rather have something machined out of a solid b lock of metal...there are a few third-party parts out there that claim to be machined billet aluminum. Still, the product description makes it clear that it's a plastic cap with a shiny plastic face glued on, so there's no deception going on here - just seems awfully expensive for a plastic part.
