It comes in a box from Stant. However, when you open it up, it has the OEM Mercedes Parts sticker on the plastic bag it comes in. I just popped off the old cap lanyard with a screwdriver and pushed this new one on and twisted the cap on... My check engine light took a couple of days to turn off.. but it did turn off! I had the EVAP Leak scan code... Usually that is the fuel cap...

Out check engine light kept coming on, turns out the old cap wasn't pressurized any longer. This cap is great, fits well and was easy to install.

I needed a new gas cap for my CLK500 - don't ask why.
I stopped by the local Auto Zone expecting to buy one for about $10.00.
Forget that. It's a Mercedes.
Anyway, this fit and worked fine.
