Replaced the Gas Cap on 2006 Chevy Impala and fit snugly unlike the gas cap that came with the car. Very happy!

My factory cap is under a recall. I've replaced it twice. First time was at 4000 miles. In a word the factory cap is junk. Buy this one and be over it. This cap will fit next to the filler neck when filling with gas. Stant 10841 is the proper cap for the 2005 GTO. Application guide will say different.

This gas cap fits our 2004 Saturn view perfectly.
Old cap was getting so loose that it would fall out. this cap locks in place - as it should.
Only drawback was i had to modify the the cap (sheet metal screw) in order to be able to use the tether which holds the gas cap to the vehicle.
