Works Right!
By Kyle
This is a well made gas cap that works correctly and will NOT make your "check engine" light come on! I previously had what seemed to be a well made locking cap, and although it always passed inspection it was finally determined to be letting just enough air pass that it always made the check engine light come on. Very frustrating. This one solved my problem on my 2003 Z-71 Suburban.

Locking Gas Cap
By Tom
Works well with no "Check Engine" lights for my Tundra. I wish it had a strap so it could be attached to the truck like the OEM gas cap.

Not so great, but it does work
By Jeff A. Shelby
Stant doesn't seem to have the same quality they used to have. The lock on this cap is very cheap and sloppy, and you can't unlock it and remove the key to have clearance to turn the cap...you have to keep the key in the cap until it's loose enough to re-lock it but still turn the cap out of the filler neck. The other sore spot is that Stant did not mold in a groove for the retainer strap, so you have to take the retainer strap off with the stock cap (and you have to remember to reinstall your gas cap or it will bounce down the road in a separate direction from your vehicle). This is a so-so product that could have been done much better.
